I also had a neighbor on Nextdoor email who made the same observation that the military flyovers in no way have the power to heal Covid-19. She observed that the U.S. is such a militarized society that many people don’t even notice the connection between the waste of tax money for the promotion of the military and the resulting consequence that the federal government does not meet human needs to care for the sick and feed the hungry even in these extreme times.
Instead Trump glows about “super duper” weapons of mass destruction to wage war in space.

The primary reason that the U.S. military is the #1 user of oil is the use of its planes. 70% of the oil used by the U.S military is consumed by planes and drones. (Great post Chrissy!!!)
