Noting these Simpson’s episodes reminds me of the Boston Legal “Stick-It” episode with the employee who got arrested at the office for putting a sticky note on her 1040 and sending it in with the “stick it” note and no money. An unlikely scenario also. But, the closing argument in that episode was very good and can be read here – http://www.boston-legal.org/19-stickit/ep19-stickit.shtml.
Would be fun to collect more of these references from tv shows and movies.

For us it seems like such an obvious statement to the government about its extreme priority on war and military spending. Both the executive and legislative branches of our government are determined to give the military everything it wants and more and to continue multiple wars for decades. Most people seem unable to risk any action to limit their complicity with the death and distruction that our taxes bring to the world.
